Mentors
Would I make a good mentor?
- Are you a successful, experienced business person?
- Are you patient a good listener?
- Are you willing to volunteer your time assisting businesses and community groups?
We would like to hear from you.
A mentor is defined as: a guide, a teacher, a wise person; an experienced and trusted counsellor.
Our mentors are any or all of the above. It is up to the mentor/mentee relationship to work out what kind of support is required and given.
However, an important attribute for any mentor is the ability to listen.
People who come to us for assistance are generally looking for a friendly, sympathetic hearing from someone they trust and respect. They may have been refused help elsewhere, can't afford professional help or have nowhere else to go.
Or, they have already made a clever business decision to seek advice first from those who already know.
Mentoring is also about teaching – your clients can benefit and learn from your knowledge and experience.
We have also found that women mentors and women in business sometimes have different needs to traditional mentoring services. That is why we offer a unique range of services and support events to both MEN AND WOMEN mentors and clients.
